Learning Curve.

This is Sean Cheetham, a very fine Artist, of whom I've been watching the back for 7 hours today, as I'm attending his 5 days oil painting class up in Van Nuys. Very interesting, even more for me as I never opened an oil paint tube before.
Tomorrow, I will open a tube, or more if all goes well, and will have my first attempt at "alla prima" painting (sounds very fancy), a portrait.
That's all, a good evening to all of you out there :)

Stef - good luck with the oil paint. I have only ever done two paintings in oils. A difficult but wonderfully malleble medium.

I mean "malleable" or looking the word up in the dictionary "pliable".

- Hey Thanks Patrick. I just saw that you're a Disney Artist too, we don't work far from each other then :)

I need some oil for my car. Anything you don't use, bring back.

Dont worry about oil, Cardozo, open a can of latex, dip your telephone and paint with it, Damn expressive tool!...Seriously now. Do you know that Winsor and Newton sell a water base oil paint called "Artisan"?..It is fantastic. Has all the virtues and consistency of oil paint but you dilute it with water. My friend Sábat uses it and the results are fantastic. See here:
