Saturday evening was the launch of the "Art Blocks For Ghana" exhibition at Gallery Nucleus in L.A. Congratulations to Margaret and Rachel for putting this together, it looked great, and it was nice to meet some of the artists who contributed.
You can bid this week on all the blocks here.
In addition to this, The Picture Book Foundation will also be donating part of its proceeds from Art Blocks to raise awareness and support Dice Tsutsumi's "Artists Help Japan and Tsunami Fund" and Give2Asia.
Here's my contribution again. Bid here.
Also Matt (Monsieur Jones) stayed with us for the weekend; we had a lovely time zooming around L.A. Here are few sketches from Huntington Gardens and The Norton Simon Museum.
Matt and my son also had a nice drawing session together while having lunch at Disneyland; my son was very creative, he impressed Matt with mixed mediums: Crayola, maccaroni and cheese, and meatballs. He clearly already thinks out of the box.

Lipchitz! Thanks again for the weekend of high culture, roller-coasters and crayons. Magnus is shaping up as the next Jackson Pollock.
Did you see the Art Blocks catalogue? Mine is reproduced SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much bigger than yours . . .
Beautiful art block! It's great to see artists unite for causes :)
Also, lovely sketches. Makes me miss going to the Huntington Gardens. I have to get back there and draw sometime!
Hi, Stef! I'm going to follow your blog because it's pretty cool (also thank you so much for showing your sketches to me, it's always surreal seeing it online after having seen it in person).
