Here's a link to a small piece about Iphone Paintings that ABC news posted on their website today. Jorge Columbo did the cover of this week New Yorker on his Iphone using "Brushes", and told ABC news that he got inspired by my work (thanks Jorge :)
They came over to L.A last Friday to film me and interview me. They stayed around for 5 hours, I'm in this piece for 20 seconds. I'm sure it's because they're keeping the material for a DVD release, collector edition with audio commentaries :)

This is the price this car I painted was for sale for, I'm obviously not asking $50,000 for it. My painting will be for sale at a show in Los Feliz, in October. More details to follow.

Zooming Around.

I see this guy often just mocking around work on his fancy vehicle. How do you do wheelings on that? Where are the good old bikes we had when we were kids? doing stunts, showing off in front of the girls.

A very enjoyable drawing session yesterday evening, in great company, at Rodolphe's.
And a link to this short that I absolutely love, that Pierre, the young man smiling in one of the photos, worked on. (for those of you who never saw that short before).

Super soirée avec les brutes de Francais de Dreamworks hier, chez Rodolphe. Y sont tous ceintures noire en dessin et maitrisent le HB comme des dieux les sacripands.
Et puis un lien vers ce super short sur lequel Pierre a bossé (le jeune homme qui sourit sur une des photos), parce que j'adore ce short.

The Hills, The Wedding (I Paparazzi-ed the Paparazzi!)

On my way to the post office on Saturday afternoon, I noticed more people than usual gathered down the road, in front of a church, in fact, quite a lot of people, with massive cameras, some I'm sure were the same used to take photos of the moon; and a lot of movie cameras, police and all.
I'm kind of use to this as it's very common in L.A, you can't buy your bread without talking about the weather with Brad Pitt (kind of...). This time, I decided to stop as it was a very good opportunity to study the paparazzi, they are a very interesting thing to watch.
(the shooting in question was a MTV show called "The Hills", which, from what I've heard, is boring, but not to the paparazzi apparently)

No power last night when I came home, so went to the park and enjoyed watching the kids playing baseball.
