The Art Of Urban Sketching, the book!

My first time published! I'm very pleased to be part of this book put together by Gabi Campanario, a collection of sketches from his Urban Sketchers website.
My old friend and favorite Welshman Matt Jones is featured in the book too.

(You can get the book on Amazon at a great price)

Here's a better look at my work in the book.

Awesome work! I am working towards developing some sort of drawing skills and so I came across your site...gives me something to strive for even though I am really far from your level of skills.

What medium do you use for your sketches? Pardon my ignorance - this is my first visit to your blog. In this post they look sort of watercolor. Whatever the way, the detail you put into these has a very nuanced feel of worldliness, if that makes sense. They look like popular drawings you'd find framed inside of a trendy restaurant. The colors suit the mood of each sketch perfectly, too. These are wonderful - you're a talented man indeed.
