Phew!

I finished my first long sketchbook last week, I really enjoyed sketching in it. I wanted to record faces and places through my transition from London to Los Angeles over a 1 month period. There are actually more faces than places here.

I've posted the full sketchbook put together, as you can see it when unfolded, and also bigger images in several parts to have a better look at all the sketches.

One of the highlight in this long "story" was when I met Jonathan Ross. He kindly invited me to spend the afternoon and evening backstage during the recording of his show "Late Night With Jonathan Ross" last month just before I left London.
You can see some of the sketches (images 5 and 6), of him with his dog "Mr Pickle" during the rehearsal, and also Samuel L. Jackson, Quentin Tarantino and K.T Tunstall. I had a fantastic time and was great to meet Jonathan Ross, he is such a nice guy!

I will now start a new long sketchbook in beautiful sunny California.

(You can see a bigger version of the full sketchbook here)

That is the greatest thing I've ever seen! LONG sketchbook-whodathoughtit? Gotta love those nipples & Tarantino's huge motherfuckin' chin is unmistakable!!

I have seen the future and it is......long! Imagine framing this puppy!!

It's fantastic Stef!!It takes great skill to not think about fucking it up half way through!

I could see this underneath Tarantino's glass coffee table with various A list celebrities snorting huge lines of cocaine off the artwork!!!!

- I'm in America now Matt, everything is huge here! I'm sure I'll find somebody somewhere that will be able to frame this, a frame cut from some of the best trees in the Yosemite.

- Yes it is Oscar! I drew him just after we had this barbecue at your place and you showed us this fantastic DVD of him playing.
Big embrace

Fantastic....I love how each one works individually on it's own but together they make a wonderful eensemble. I especially enjoy the vehicles that appear throughout like passing cars among a crowd.
