Relaxing.

Few sketches while having coffe, during the week, while everybody is working.

Excellent, Stephane— coffee stains and all.
Coffee in itself can even be a sort of emergency paint. I remember in a trip I asked a friend, Pep Alaminos, a painter, a sketch from him in my own sketchbook: I only had a pen and pencil, but he preferred to dip a finger in his coffee and he did something very nice.

Bottom one's really interesting, pushing in a new direction for you. You must've had a coffee 'rush' when you made the top one! It's like a Gondry nightmare!!

Stef - I believe we met at the Academy of Art when you were there for the Illustration Academy. I was the girl that showed up midway and did no artwork whatsoever ;) I happened upon your blog through Nathan Fowke's blog (isn't his stuff incredible?). Just wanted to comment that I think your architectural drawings are really fantastic. Keep up the good work. You have officially been bookmarked. ....cat

- Thanks Joan. Yes coffee could be interested, I didn't want to paint with it, just have a kind of mark.

- The only new direction I see is that I used a pencil instead of the usual pen. I didn't like it, but as you said, it's interesting cher Ami. Are you getting all excited for your visit in London?

- Hey Cat, yes I remember you! Thank you.
You should check the other guys blogs in my friends links who were at the Academy too.
I'm going to check your blog.

I am exited to see you, Crookie & Gerby!! What happened to Gerby's blog?
RE:the bottom image-
It's VERY different to your usual style- NOPhotoshop tinkering, much LOOSER drawing, DIRTY not clean, pen WITH pencil, the ink distressed with water works great. Looks like an ANGRY drawing- I like it a lot.
