Work in progress...

Few nice and interesting pictures before the weekend, René sent me this work in progress of the making of the mould for the Rodeo figurine. He'll do a resin sculpt from it and then the final one in Tin.. I'll post more pictures of the different stages as he goes along.

You can see here the previous stage again, rough sculpt, 2.75 inches tall!

Thanks for showing us the process behind the making of the mold!
Fascinating to see the extra structures Rene added to stabilize the delicate sculpture.

So cool to see the process of this...by the way I know you've had it up for a while but I like your banner!

What is your lovely pup balancing on his nose?

That is looking nice! I've always wanted to work with resin.

Update your Blog! Amazing sculpt. I have something 2.75 inches tall too, but far less interesting.

Thank you very much Shawn, Opi, Alina, Virginia, Gerald.
The Doodlers, I'm glad you enjoy seeing the process, I'm going to add more pictures soon. The bits Rene added are actually going to be the canals which he's going to pour the tin in at the final stage.
Eren! Glad you like the new banner.
Eliott, same as the doodlers.
Eendar, how are you? it's been a long time!
Thank you Crookie! maybe we can ask Rene to reshape it!

mmadalena, The parts on top of them are going to be the canal used to pour in the tin at the final stage.
