This is Magnus and I first collaboration. He drew the bird, I did the color (and the little Magnus running I have to admit). For the back story, this is Jacques the bird, Jacques "Pippi" as Magnus calls him, "Pippi' means bird in Swedish (yes I know...). While visiting the French school in L.A earlier this week with Magnus, he spotted a little bird in a tree and ran after him; The administrative manager of the school told him that the bird was called Jacques. Later that evening at home, I asked Magnus to draw Jacques, while both enjoying some wine by the fireplace.
