Lycklig Mors Dag!

Here is the card I made, for my son to offer to my lovely wife today for Mother's Day.

I thought I'd also share the different stages from concept/rough to final as I never really do this.
(Top left drawing - pen and paper, all the rest digital)

- Thanks hareinthemoon, I'm glad you enjoyed me sharing it. I've been asked few times to share my process, so I will do it when I can.

Yes, that texture is made with few custom brushes I have on Photoshop.

Awesome! Nice idea having the character holding the mini-card. I may have to steal that.

I really love these characters. They have a retro style. It brings to my memory some illustrations from the 60´s. I´m not so old, but I have a few illustrations from that decade. Congrats, beautiful work of art. Carlos - Argentina
