Original Tokyo Sketches for Japan.

Update: All original sketches sold! Thank you very much to all of you guys for your support and generosity!
$275 will go to the Red Cross to help Japan, plus $275 more as Disney will match these dollars! $550!

I would like to offer few of my original sketches for sale, to raise money to help the victims in Japan. They are from a trip I did in Tokyo back in March/April 2005. I will donate all the proceeds to the Red Cross. My contribution will be match dollar for dollar by The Walt Disney Company.

Please email me if interested. I will cover the shipping fees.

All sketches are 9X9 inches on Fabriano paper.

Thank you for your support!

"Art Blocks For Ghana" and Other Things.

Saturday evening was the launch of the "Art Blocks For Ghana" exhibition at Gallery Nucleus in L.A. Congratulations to Margaret and Rachel for putting this together, it looked great, and it was nice to meet some of the artists who contributed.

You can bid this week on all the blocks here.

In addition to this, The Picture Book Foundation will also be donating part of its proceeds from Art Blocks to raise awareness and support Dice Tsutsumi's "Artists Help Japan and Tsunami Fund" and Give2Asia.

Here's my contribution again. Bid here.

Also Matt (Monsieur Jones) stayed with us for the weekend; we had a lovely time zooming around L.A. Here are few sketches from Huntington Gardens and The Norton Simon Museum.

Matt and my son also had a nice drawing session together while having lunch at Disneyland; my son was very creative, he impressed Matt with mixed mediums: Crayola, maccaroni and cheese, and meatballs. He clearly already thinks out of the box.
