Ah great!

Thanks to Jamie Bolio, I now have a google mail account so I can leave comments again. And now I also know what you really look like - Jamie sent me some photos of the "no-show" Uli party. Not at all like the full-length "Droopy" body that Matt gave you in your caricature. But don't eat too many burgers or drink the milkshakes! I had a big gut within a month, living out there.

Like these street drawings, Stef [and the one of Eve] - very evocative: they bring back memories of when I was in L.A. 10 years ago. Finally found out what a moleskine is too (like here)...

I know - I've been living under a rock.

All the best, mon ami "virtual" and give Jamie a big kiss from me.

Pete

I just love the freshness in your sketches! The sun has begun shine here in Karlstad (as always) by the way.

- Aaaah Peter! Jamie sent you some photos?
I still have this drawing for you...

- Thanks Clinton

- Hola! quetal Oncle Grillon? A bientot a Londres!

- Per, I think it's sunnier and warmer in Karlstad than here at the moment.

Well, Stef - I'd like the original drawing if you can find time to send it to me. You know I'll pay postage and packing as well as the price of the drawing.
But I have a perfectly nice print of it on the board in front of me if you don't send it. I'll e-mail a j-peg of my desk to you as proof.
Keep up the good work, mon brave.

I'm crazy about this drawing. The vast sky, the strong diagonal lines, the paper's patina. So many nice things to say about it. I'm now starting to draw again myself. I was once pretty good at the 30 second gesture drawing. I've wiped the dust off of my wacom tablet and am doing some experimentation using Coral Painter. Nothing too respectable yet..but you have had your influence on me so I will persevere. Please do go and visit my blog. I've got some of my ceramic work on it and some cool info on local history.
