He kept me updated through the process of the making of the figurine, and I thought it would be nice to share with you all those informations, as it's very interesting to be able to see it beeing made from scratch.
I still can't believe that he managed to make it work in 3D without changing anything. My illustration was so graphical, I wasn't thinking about 3D at all, but Rene solved all the problems, balance was a major one.

The process involve 8 different moulds as the figurine is quite complex, you can see below all the small parts beeing prepared.
Then the tin is poured in the moulds...
...after that, Rene has to cut and clean the parts.
And there it is! after putting everything together.

And the final tin figurine in the box. The figurine is 2.75 inches tall (7cm).
Rene sent me this pictures of an old Mickey in tin next to those guys, and his lighter in the back to give you an idea of the size.
The figurines are not ready yet, they still need to be painted, by hand; eyes, nose, gun and few other bits will be glossy, and the rest, matt. Rene would like to make a limited edition of 100.
