You crack me up, "lazy"? saying the guy who's posting every single great Artists work on his blog rather than his own.

Ignore old Jamie up there, you hit the nail on the head with our "tutor" last night, it looks exactly like her!

I love the two girls behind their easels and the guy standing on the right. Tres chouette :)

agree with Matt, the tutor could put that drawing on her passport.

More wonderful work, Stef. If I had a favorite, it would be the fourth one down from the top; very nice. Thanks for sharing them again.

Hi, Stef !! ( ^ ^ )
All of them are very unique drawings !

I viewed the post you visited to Tokyo.
I looked with interest your comment and drawings.
( * I enjoyed the atmosphere of Tokyo by your rough sketch. Ah ... I haven't been to the Ghibli Museum yet. I am truly envious. I live in natural area far away from Tokyo.)

Japan in your eyes is fascinating. Haha. ( ^_^ )
The pleasure is mine.
Aridatou Stef !!

I've been watching your blog for the last week, think I've seen it all by now. At first i felt like Eric Clapton when he first heard Jimmy Hendrix, (not that i see myself as Eric Clapton, I'im more like Nigel Tufnell (these goes to eleven)), I'm so impressed by your line and sense of volume. Amazing what a great artist can do with a pen.
Fantastiskt helt enkelt!

- Thanks Smook and Shawn.

- Elliot, bossy character is our tutor, she's talking about the same thing over and over each time I'm going there (negative spaces, draw bigger, don't use tricks, not so much details, try something you've never done before, too cartoony...)

-Thanks PMBC.

-Arigatou Mayo. And thanks for taking the time to go down my archives and have a look at my sketches from Tokyo.

-Tack sa mykett Mattias. Very flattered by your comment. And thank you for looking at all my work.
It's very nice reward to receive such a nice comment.
Believe me, I'm less spectacular than Hendrix when I draw.

Oh dear.
I don't think she'd care for me much....

beautiful drawings!! I especially love the top piece, where the draw boards blend into the white BG! It creates an abstract feel to it!!

If Id had to use a word to describe your work itd be "fresh". I love the way you keep reinventing yourself/discovering new ways of doing.

Have you though of doing etchings or have you allready done some? I think your line drawing style would be perfect for that.

Again, wonderful work

Love these elegant and simple purple brush sketches, Stef. This tutor sounds a bit stuck in her attitude. But you sure are not stuck there with her!

Do you find the needling from the teacher pushes you to do better or is it more annoying?~Arna

Independent proof that your sketch of the instructer is pretty good - I took one look at it and realised that we go to the same life drawing class! The one from the back is spot on...

- Hey Doodlers,
Thanks! I find it annoying actually, she's kind of patronizing, but I try not to listen to her and do my stuff.

- How funny Kate, that's the first time somebody for the course is coming on my blog. What do you think about the class?

I enjoy it...I've only been 4 or 5 times, and most of your woman's comments have been fairly constructive - but then I've done very little life drawing before, so I need all the help I can get!

ton trait est vraiment beau,j'aime perticulièrement la pose du gars à la chemise bleue qui dessine..
merci de ton commentaire sur mon blog.

I only went to the class once, but I immediately knew EXACTLY who that last drawing was of!

You've really captured her patronising stroppiness!
