Another lovely piece of drawing!! I try to draw in the car the other day, it's hard to control the hands while the car is bouncing around. You did a great job with your car drawings!
-Merci the Doodlers! I started to use the gutter just last week and I like it actually, it's here when I do my sketch, so why going over it when I do the colour.
- Merci beaucoup Nemo, tres gentil de ta part, je suis flatte.
The way you've presented the last few sketches, reminds me of the photo format of our family pictures while growing up in the 70's with the rounded edges.
Your observational sketches ARE TOPS in my book. The tones work extremely well in your compositions.
Well, thank you very much Monsieur Smook, very much appreciated and flattered! That's exactly what I want to achieve at the moment, to have this kind of 70's tones, using the tint of the loeskine sketchbook. Good to have you back! where have you been? I guess very busy...
I love the effect that you get coloring your drawing pad. I love how the line in the middle looks. Then , when you do this flat color is very very nice. Is great that you leave that bit of dirt in the edges.
I've tried drawing while in the car several times, and each time hit several parking meters, pedestrians and parked cars, the results were more than jittery. I must try it in the back seat next time. Anyway, have been enjoying your blog for months now, particularly the watercolours and the drawings.

A terrific sense of the place and the experience of being in the back seat. The guttered page works too- didn't think it would. Just great!
Yours are the best sketches and drawings i've seen so far on the web. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful work - nemo

-No Paul, I don't sit at the back of cars often, that's why I do sketches when I'm in one, it's a great opportunity.
